DON’T FORGET TO REVIEW VOCABULARY FOR UNIT 1, ALSO FOR THE EXAM.

Offer job security, may be dangerous, demand long working hours, seem glamorous/exciting, be tiring / boring / stressful.

Comparing and contrasting

Both jobs are... ; neither job is... / nursing is like teaching because... Nursing is more demanding than teaching because...
Teaching is not as ...as nursing because...
Teaching has long holidays while /whereas nursing has shorter holiday periods.

Making a comment and giving your opinion

It looks like... / I’ve never thought about it, but... I suppose I’d prefer... / if you ask me / as far as I’m concerned / as for me.
